Since the 2012 release of the Global Commission on HIV and the Law’s report, UNDP and its partners have strengthened support to countries to undertake, amongst other things, consultations, dialogues and assessments to reduce inequalities and promote enabling legal and policy environments for strengthened access to health services, including HIV, TB and malaria services. This support has contributed to evidence-informed national strategic health plans, investment cases, Global Fund and other funding requests for large-scale health programmes and/or other relevant strategies, with a particular focus on securing the right to health for for adolescent girls and young women, key and other vulnerable populations.
